The 2025 BetVictor Championship League Snooker Invitational Event will take place from January 3 to February 4 at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, featuring the top 25 players from the World Snooker Tour.
Last year, hometown hero Mark Selby claimed the title, and this year’s event marks the sixth edition of the Championship League Snooker as an invitational competition.
The tournament will be played over seven group stages, beginning on Friday, January 3, followed by the Winners’ Group Stage, which will run from Monday, February 3, to Tuesday, February 4. The winner of the event will earn a coveted spot in the 2025 Champion of Champions, taking place from November 10 to 15, as well as the £20,000 first-place prize.
Both Tables 1 and 2 will be broadcast globally, with Table 1 available on the Matchroom Multi Sport YouTube channel in the UK. Fans from China can tune in to catch the action on Rigour, while audiences in Scandinavia, the Netherlands, and Iceland can watch on Viaplay. A full broadcast schedule will be announced soon.
This year’s star-studded lineup includes defending champion Mark Selby, Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, Neil Robertson, and reigning World Snooker Champion Kyren Wilson, among others. The tournament draw will be announced shortly.
